Grace Grimpic: 22nd 2001, I was in a car accident. I had a lot of head trauma. Six months after that, I started experiencing a lot of head, neck, shoulder pain like the back of my neck, it was really hurt. Well, I've seen at least 15 doctors, all different types of doctors, acupuncture, neurosurgeons, orthopedic doctors, chiropractic, regular doctors, anybody and everybody that I could talk to. They all gave me the same answer; there is not a whole lot they could do for me. I was told I'll probably need surgery later on because I was so tight in my neck and my shoulders that it was foreseeable that I would need to have a discectomy in my neck from living that way.
So that's when I made an appointment and actually I mustn't come because I thought, what good is going to -- I had no idea someone -- to my TMJ. But I finally made the appointment and I came in and Doctor Jolly confirmed that I did have the TMJ issue that needed to be corrected. So, it didn't take long before I was in orthotic. I can remember two weeks after my treatment, I had started walking out of this office going. Oh! My god, see my shoulder stuff and I can move them, my neck isn't all, you know stacking when spiting, I mean it was awesome. I never associated the neck and the shoulder pain with TMJ. I just was tired and my jaw aching, that's why I came to Doctor Jolly.
It was unbelievable to me that he could actually take care of my neck and my shoulder pain while taking care of my mouth and my pain in my jaw. To completely be out of pain when you lived in it for almost six years now is nothing but a miracle. I have no pain medication now, which is awesome. I love Doctor Jolly. I really think that it's a blessing from god that I was safe. I know there are a lot of people who don't think that the TMJ treatment can help them like it did me. I have a lot of people asking me, when I tell them about it and they see that and I am not on pain pills and that I am actually able to feel good. They ask me that all the time, does that really work? I am like, yes, I know it's hard to believe, but true, it does work, it's awesome.
