Hi! This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your special butterscotch.com tutorial on how to improve your wireless security with Cisco network magic. So, I have network magic loaded. On the test tab, I'm going to click on change wireless protection. Now, it brings up a box and the very first time it asks you to sign in to your router providing the username and password. Now, once it connects, it's connected. So, it shows that wireless security is enabled, it shows that it's wept which is not what I normally used but I changed it for the purpose of this tutorial.
There is the key 26 characters, I can click change wireless security. Now, I can go to no wireless security which is not recommended. Better compatibility, you could go at a higher security. I personally recommend WPA-2. You can see here, you can click to choose a key and get help entering a stronger key. So, it's just the one that I have here is adequate. I can click okay and then there's network lock, network lock prevents intruders from joining your wireless network, shows that it's not enabled. I’ll click enable network lock and here’s it say network lock is successfully enabled. If you need to add in device, go to network task and add a device and that it's only available during the free trial to keep it secure, you need to buy network magic. So, we’ll say close, you can see your network lock is enabled, hit close and that’s all there is to it.
