How to Stretch in the Shower During Pregnancy

Hi, it is Andrea Guzman again. Welcome to mommie2betime. I bet you are wondering what I am doing inside the shower. Well, I will tell you guys. I was just taking a shower and I do these regular stretches in the shower and thought why don't I tell you guys about it. So today's episode is called pregnant lady's shower stretches. I am going to show you a couple, just a couple that you can do.
The first one is going to be an hamstring stretch. If you don't have a little seat like I do in my shower you can just put your leg up and kind of bend over here on the side. Well, what I am going to do is put my leg up and just kind of reach forward. Now as water is running down on your back it feels really good. You kind of get double action, you get like you loosen up your back because you know how our backs get really sore when pregnant. That is one then I have another one. This is a calf stretch. You just kind of put your hands against the shower and bring out your left foot and push back your right calf, make sure your heel is all the way down. It's just like your regular runner stretch and you do all the time. So you can do this and then periodically switch it up and then I have one more if you want to get really crazy and you have a little bar like this you can do some squats. Now keep your feet about shoulder with the part and then do not let the knees go over to toes and what you are going to do is just squat down and come up and squeeze and squat down and come up and of course as your belly gets bigger it gets little bit more difficult, but I heard it's really important to keep your quadriceps really strong for labor so there you go.
