To prepare your mesh for stringing, you need to do a couple of things. First, you need to first dip it in hot water. Now you can add to the hot water, shampoo, a conditioner or other types of softeners to soften up the mesh. You then need to fold back the very top row of diamonds so that it lines up with the third row of diamonds, like so. This will help to re-enforce the mesh so that over time it doesn't tear or rip as you play the game. The last thing that you need to do with the mesh is make sure that you try to straighten as much as possible. By straightening and pulling the mesh like so, you will get a better fit to the head which will help you create a better pocket. That's preparing the mesh.
