Last thing I will show you is how to do a V string. Now a V string, you are going to find a center, the piece of mesh where it connects, these two diamonds connect right in the center of my stick, I want to take my hockey lace, I want to wrap, put it through the back of the mesh like so and then back through the front. This is where the exact center of our mesh is going to be, it's where our V is going to be. Now I am simply going to weave a V in one side and weave the V in the other side.
First I find my center, now I am going to go left to the left of one mesh or one hole and then I want to take it a one hole over, I can then start going in V formation. If I were to go, start to go in a straight down like a V, there won't be as much space for the ball to hold once we have completed our V. So I simply just weave, again, going through the top and back through the bottom. So we get to the side of bar and so. Finally, again, through other side, when you go over one hole, hold the mesh through and then come down in our V formation from here. Now, our V string, this is the beginning of our V string.
So as you can see I have done one side of my V and all I did was weave it through once, come back around or side wall strings and then just weave it through, just like we did for our top strings. Now we will do this together with you and show you the back side of the string. Again, I have my string, I am going to put it through the mesh and above the string that's already weaved through, go through, on one side, I go to the next diamond and pull it through the front. Now make other side of the side wall, it should be on the other side of the shooting string. We have our weave and again we go through and back. So our weaving technique; make sure that our strings stays flat. So we get the last hole.
Now the last key thing is, number one to make sure that it's lined up on both sides when we are finished, as you see I finished right underneath this hole, so I want to finish right underneath that hole here, I am going to tie it off and when you tie it off, you have to bring one side through underneath our side wall string, the other side comes through over top, it should be just a bit knot. So we can create our V pocket.
