How to Structurally Build a Fire in Snow

Okay, flames are starting up, yet pretty high. I take the rest of my wood and just start dumping it on. I do spread it out so there is that airspace between the wood. If you can ascertain which way the wind is going I like to put some wind in that direction. How big a fire do you need? The bigger the better, actually if you have a lot of clothes to dry out, just high is good enough to maintain enough heat. The other thing to consider is as the flames get higher in the wood catches. I might one to spread it out. Be careful this is where a lot of people end up killing their fire but if you could slowly spread it out lengthwise then more people have room to get around the fires specially if you have a big roof, thank you.
