How to Submit to Modeling Agencies That Are Not Close By

So if you are not wanting to relocate to a major market like New York, Miami or California should you still cement your picture there. You know that is a great question. It is really up to you and to how far you are willing to go. If you are not willing to drive the three hours to New York or take the plane to Florida for casting, then no, it is not really smart. If you want to go there for the summer for a couple of months say you have an aunts that you can stay with and you can go there for the summer, then yes, but do not only send to those agencies of that you are willing to drive to, take a plane to, to get to and pay the expenses for the all of those things. You have to be able to cover all of the money to get to the auditions and all of the things and it can be very costly for people that are starting out. And let me tell you the competition in those larger markets is very fierce. I mean there are a lot of people that I have worked a very long time and they have a lot of experience, so the best place for someone to start out is in there small local town. Get some experience, do some smaller jobs. Kind of relax into it. A lot of people get very nervous and they do not know what this is so it is hard to jump from being just starting out to something at that level it will just intimidate you all the more and maybe you will just quit because it is too overwhelming. So, go ahead and start in your local town.
