This is my friend, my dog, my pet.
A few hours ago, my sister told me of the lost of her friend, her pet, her dog. And then she said that she did not want to discuss it any further. I understand clearly what she is talking about. So, I took my dog for a walk to our local pond just to reflect on my sisters lost, to reflect on her friend, her pet, her dog.

Pet owners understand that when you lose a pet, you are not losing an animal; you are losing a friend and a soul mate.
Oh! yes, as a pet owner, we have heard that famous saying that, as long as the pet is living in our hearts, that pet will be alive. Well, that is true only to a point. The grief is real and as almost unbearable.
If these sounds silly to you, then you have my sympathy and I can only wish that one day soon you too will know what it is like to have a friend.
