woman you are crazy. You cant teach a dog not to jump by stepping on its feet. This is abuse. if you want a dog to stop jumping just ask your guests as they come in to turn their back when the dog jumps, then you tell it to sit and when it does give it a treat. When your pup realises that if he jumps he get ignored and when he sits he gets a treat he will respond much faster and you wont be hurting it to make it listen. DONT SQUEEZE ITS PAWS OR CRUSH ITS FEET this is abuse its one thing to pop it on the nose and say no every so often but you dont purposely hold your dog in a place and hurt it to make it stop doing something. If any one needs help with what to do with their dog I would be more than happy to help you find a less painful way for you and your puppy just email me at katie.deary@yahoo.co m and title it PUPPY PROBLEMS or something along those lines so I dont think its spam. Thanks

I am suppose to punish my dog because he wants to say hello to me? And I am suppose to do that now after I have allowed him to do it before? How about withdrawing attention and greating him only when his 4 paws are on the ground? Just and ideait will problably also save my hands from bleeding after grabbing my rootweilers paws!
