Today you are going to learn how to thread the sewing machine. It is an easy task that will save you time while working on sewing your back sacks. It may look complicated at first but once you get the hang of it, it is very easy. You maybe looking at the machines and thinking they are all different, do I have to how to thread each one? The machines only look different they have all the same parts therefore the steps are the same.
Threading the bobbin case first open the slide plate, hold the bobbin in your left hand and then pull the thread with your right hand then place the bobbin inside of the bobbin case and pull the thread around the edge there are small notches that the thread has to catch on. Then close the slide plate leaving the thread on the outside over to the left.
Placing the spool thread onto the spool pin, remove the cap, there are small holes on the middle of the spool thread, slide it onto the spool pin and replace the cap. Going through the first hook, slowly pull the thread from the spool of thread that you just put on the spool pin. Hold it with both hands and pull underneath the middle hook. Down around up and through, now you going to take the thread take it down you can see on my machine their is small arrows pointing down take it around with the needle thread tension back up and then through the take up lever, there is a small hole that you will put the thread through.
Through the curly Q’s, now you can take the thread and put it through the small middle curly Q’s it has to go through both of them for it to sew properly. Threading the needle, when you thread the needle you put the thread through from front to back. The whole small so take your time and be patient. Bringing the bobbin thread up through the throat plate holding the thread that you just put to the needle and your left hand turn the hand we all down ones and back up.
A small loop come up through the presser foot, gently take the end of the scissors and pull the loop through. Now you have one thread coming to the needle and one thread coming to the bobbin that is exactly what you want and you just threaded the sawing machine.
