Hi, I am Wendy Moyle form Shindigz. The world’s largest party store. Today we are going to talk about how to create and easy to set up Theme Table on a budget. Like most family you probably celebrate a wide range of yearly event for birthdays to graduation, holidays to school party. Even the great test score, a sports victory or dance recital can be an reinforce for a special celebration. The foal point of this special event and parties offering that it can be your table. Affordable, practical and easy to decorate a great table can enhance any theme party whether you are planning a buffet or a sit down meal.
A Western Theme for example can add a kick wild-west fun to any party from birthdays, to fundraisers, to summer block party. Let us walk through the creation of the western table. Keeping your mind that the same basis steps can be use for almost any theme. First, let us start with the table cover. I use a plastic pink and table cover, which not only looks fund but makes clean at the breeze. Yet, I added a rock view table skirt and clear it a simple western garland by tying together red and blue bandana with the base set, the second step is turn our attention to the plate settings. I choose a metallic silver star to act as placemats and that complimentary color plate on top of one another. I again make use of the bandanas, this time for napkins with cut lily roll inside them. It is all tied together with plastic barbwire garland.
Replace cards this mini straw bells each labeled with a personal I share a fudge. The final touch my all time favorite the boot mug, which also functions as a great take home party favor. Step 3 is creating a unique centerpiece. A simple western style lantern provides a bit of candle light, which I love. It works as a great anchor for the balloon bouquet. Remember with any centerpiece to make center that is no so extrusive that your guest camp see across the table. Fun and functional as we are after. Surrounding the centerpiece for theme buckets, great for décor and as take home party favorite. Build them with peanut, chips, popcorn, whatever you wish and finally do not forget the chair. It is easy to make even folding chairs with western look. I tied tow bandanas together and added a cowboy hat. I always like to provide a simple ware of items for my guest to keep everyone in the party spirit and that is it.

Four easy steps for creating a great Theme Table and now that we have step sound let me sure how can we apply these steps to a number of other themes and ideas. Here we have a Luau Theme sort of both a dinner table and a buffet table. For the dinner table, I started with the blue table cover and lot of table skirting with shell garland. Each place setting is to dine with tealeaves, coconut candleholder and sharpest napkin ring. The centerpiece of the palm trees candleholder surrounded by sand and shell. Finally, the chairs are decorated with straws and lace. The buffet table is cover with sand color paper with a water – skirt accented with knitting shells and a garland lace. Twinkle light under the table provide the romantic glow. I have also added plastic tealeaves, a tape of grass a long with efficient pineapple. These cone coconuts can be use for drinks or as candleholders and the giant clamp shell at each corner make great serving pieces for food and drinks. These meal shells provide the finishing touch.

A great Retro Theme is the 50’s party. Complete with music and dancing and perhaps who you have contact. This table is covered with a plastic table cover and features a metallic 50’s table skirting. I had used the flat with pattern paper to create placemat and individual graffiti state. The personalize color glasses are great take home favor along with the shade. Again, using everyone in the mood to party. The sign of this star is a simple 19 inch plastic record, group your float candle mug double as directions and balloon holders. The chairs are covered with quilt skirt and a simple 50’ scarf.
This is a Paris table with it we created a more sophisticated look by using elegant material, we are still following the four basic steps.
