How to throw a Retro-70s Xmas Party
Hello, I am Anna Copa Canbanna from Australia and I am her to talk about Christmas and the 70’s because I like Christmas and I like the 70’s. I was around in the 70’s and I was in Australia. And in Australia, it is very summery and hot so we ran around, we ran around that sprinklers, and we run around, and we go on the “Slip ‘N Slide’ in the 70’s which I do not think it is around anymore because it hurts.
But it was really fun, and we dress up as Wonder Woman and Batman and slide down the ‘Slip ‘N Slide’ and then ride around on our bikes and show everyone on your bikes. So anyway, I wanted to tell you some ideas for a Retro 70’s Christmas.
Tip #1: Fondue. One great to have a 70’s Christmas party is to have fondue. Just basically melted stuff in a big bowl to share with all your friends. One type of fondue is cheese, the other type is chocolate. Chocolate is my favorite. But cheese can be really fun because everyone likes melted cheese and you can use vegetables or bread or meats.
And then it is just, all elements-the cheese and the rest is all over you, and it is super, super fun. Or chocolate, you can put more chocolate and the fondue, or you can put like bread if you want to be weird or biscuits, cookies and nuts—that is fun is not it? Oh and fruit, fruit is good for you.
Tip # 2: The Limbo. Another great way to have a 70’s Christmas party is to do the Limbo. The Limbo is when you are all in a line and two people are holding pole and then you have too back bend under the pole. It is very exciting and it might give some people some funny ideas for later on.
Tip #3: Ambrosia. So another great tip for your Retro 70’s Christmas party is to have a bowl of keize, but if you do not want a bowl of keize, you can have a bowl full of ambrosia which is a very, very exciting dessert—only the 70’s. No one really eats it anymore and not really sure what is in it but you can look it up on the internet although it is in the 70’s so you just have to ask your grandma, sorry.
Hope these hints were helpful. I am Anna Cop Cabanna and you can reach me on www.myspace.com/annacopacabanna. Two Ns and two Ns.
