Hey! There football fans. I am Jean Benedict of celebrations.com with some great ideas for throwing a tailgating party.
We are hosting a big game party right here at home. We have got a crowd that is ready to shout it down on first down appetizers. Get into the heat of competition with a delicious appetizer baked vadella onion dip. Now this is super easy to make. You just combine these ingredients into a one quart casserole dish. So, I have one cup of chopped vadella onion, one cup of mayonnaise, one cup of Swiss cheese, shredded or you can use Parmesan cheese too, and one clove of garlic, finely minced. You want to mix this all up. You could give it a little heat if you want with little hot sauce. Top this with a little shredded Swiss, a little grated Parmesan, and you are good to go. Bake it at 375 degrees for 25 minutes and then serve it with your favorite dippers. Now, you can heat it in a casserole dish or transfer to a fondue part for the party.
To keep guests happy no matter what is going on in the game, the appetizers are within reach of the prime seats right in front of the TV. On the coffee table, along with the baked vadella onion dip, we have got black bean and corn salsa with blue and gold thin colored chips. Over here, fresh veggies and Mojito mayo dip. And, in these football candy dispensers, we have some hot and spicy cocktail nuts to rev everybody up. Pick off your party with these appetizers and you are off to a winning start.
