Audra Lowe: Believe it or not the holiday is just a few weeks away so it’s time to start
preparing mentally and physically for all the festivities. Cocktail Leanne
Chair and Tracey Toomey are here, they’re going to help call my nerves,
and they got some great tips to throwing a cocktail party without breaking
the bank. Welcome ladies?
Leanne Chair: Thanks for having me here.
Audra Lowe: You guys look happy and got the drinks here so what you doing?
Tracey Toomey: We are all already go.
Leanne Chair: Right.
Audra Lowe: Now, the first that you have is in terms of creating a general budget, would
a lot people forget and they think after the fact that I couldn’t save money
here right?
Tracey Toomey: Yeah, we always say is it’s actually a lot less expensive to entertainment at
home or on your apartment than out of the bar or restaurant where they’re
going to charging you. You know hundred of dollars is sometimes a
person for open bar and appetizers which you can do in your home for so
much cheaper.
Audra Lowe: They’re shaking there hand, yeah.
Leanne Chair: No, I don’t like that all. I think the first big thing actually is glass wear.
For of all we are environmentalist so we don’t like the plastic anymore
and it’s really, really easy and unbelievably cheap to rent glasses it’s like
45 cents a glass.
Tracey Toomey: May we say it’s best to prepare as much as you can in advance so that
when you’re guest come you’re out having time with them and you are not
in the kitchen, shaking up cocktails or mixing up punches you just out
there with an having fun and enjoying the party as well.
Audra Lowe: Okay, now speaking on cocktails let’s get straight to it. What do you have
here?
Leanne Chair: The delicious news full begin.
Audra Lowe: Okay, what do you have here it is the signature drink that you guys make
or—
Tracey Toomey: Everything is our signature drink.
Audra Lowe: Okay.
Tracey Toomey: But this is our wintry wine punch, this is delicious.
Leanne Chair: Which could not be easier to prepare, it’s basically a bottle of wine and
you can use which ever wine that you like reviews that’s why it’s here.
And then you make simple syrup with spices, cinnamon sticks and all
spice and cloves and the whole recipes on celebration.com. so you can get
it and make it at home and you just put on glass wear and a bowl and guest
conserve themselves and you can sit down and enjoy your own mug of
punch.
Tracey Toomey: Now, we have our special signature cocktail, a celebration.com signature
cocktail and it really is perfect for the holidays. So, what we do is we do
premium white tequila.
Audra Lowe: Okay.
Leanne Chair: It’s already a ice in here already.
Tracey Toomey: Yeah, ice okay.
Leanne Chair: Some lime juice.
Tracey Toomey: We always use freshly squeeze because the bottle is stop with corn syrup
and—
Audra Lowe: Notice the big difference—
Tracey Toomey: That is huge difference and in calories to be honest and all of us ladies in
the holiday times are looking to.
Audra Lowe: Right.
Tracey Toomey: Simple syrup which is fancy wave thing sugar water put that in there and
we used our really delicious ginger liquor. It’s a really fun edition it’s
going to make this drink, warm and spicy perfect for the holidays.
Audra Lowe: That’s really good too.
Tracey Toomey: Yeah.
Leanne Chair: And actually this liquor is the liquor you can get for $30 a bottle and you
make an elder flower liquor they make a violet liquor and it makes an
ordinary cocktail it thus would be basically a margarita but it turns that
into something really extra ordinary and something fun and festive and
good for the holiday, it’s good for the winter time.
Audra Lowe: That’s great did you have to serve these parties before and people love its
big hit?
Leanne Chair: It’s a huge hit, I think all these are – the thing is it is simply as we said
before about just having fun.
Tracey Toomey: There is no reason to be stressing that about having a party and all we
enjoy a party.
Audra Lowe: I know, I see that you guys have this a little small play here of element I
mean you keep it simple but still looks elegant.
Leanne Chair: Right and those are Bruise Mary Roasted Element which are so easy to
prepare also inexpensive and still healthy. Because the truth is how of this
holiday parties do we live and we feel horrible because it had 17 cheese
pops.
Tracey Toomey: Exactly.
Leanne Chair: I know you don’t feel good about yourself you feel upset so we say, give
your guest something some what nourishing.
Audra Lowe: But you also say make it a pot lot too, like the other people help out right?
Tracey Toomey: Absolutely, I think the biggest thing— first of all you going to had some
to the next party because you are the host and just to keep out the berry.
Leanne Chair: Right.
Tracey Toomey: But people love to be involve in parties, you know everyone is going to
bring something no matter what. You know so one that say, okay bring an
appetizer or bring a bottle of white and I’ll take care of this signature
cocktail in the punch, it’s easy as can be.
Audra Lowe: Get back to the original phrase party so you can actually get out there and
party too.
Leanne Chair: Exactly.
