How to Tie a Three Strand Bracelet
Hi this Sean of Silver Fox and in this video today I’m going to show you how to make various different types of bracelets from braids and but it works my videos you can see with various types and most of this I’ll show you now. I made from one continual piece and I have made a back up power cool bracelet video before which was a single piece and this are small decorative versions of the same principle really. So on those on to position with the camera to get you looking down onto the hands and I now I cannot explain a various knots and braids. Also I thought I should mention because you bound to pick up on it. The noise you can hear in the background is our pet and igloo is an Indian igloo or a bungle igloo. It was not as a rock igloo as well.
Get prolong to my daughter this one is my and is always in the background but I know you got people and have some one who is this in background who is this in the background so I pour and I let you know. Hopefully you will fit one of our videos very soon.
Okay well we get the camera set up and the bracelet sit the airway and I’ve got this one, which is made up to 17 thin Para cord, and this is a full strand braid. Set this two, set the strands in a braid it together and then you join them at the end. This one is a single continual piece of leather put lace and back to this one because I know it is a single time and in particular I want to work if my laces is snap and I let you got a boot lace here. It is decorative over six because this is my leather when you make them and make them when the leather is wet the stretch and put on when they dry up they tighten up.
So it is when it cuts me worm just come up when it started to cord but I can now do it and that’s what I’ve got here made up. It’s working in try to decent the more detail and we try to make those and the other one I’ve just made is this one and this is a double braid, it’s a single link that Para cord again. Is that your Para circles that’s what you take up? It’s a single length and this is otherwise known as a trumpet braid or a bugle braid and this is y the military. So I show you how to make that one it’s quite decorative from the front and on the inside you got like a herring burn top of it.
So to make this one the leather boot lace thong or bracelet. We need to get is a leather boot base. Now you cannot. You make the same braid just for you to the normal shoe lace. So as I got to the made and lot of it and made up of this kind of shoes and we’re boot lace if you wish and what you do is I latch all my fingers apart. I care that works and there is also my risk. So put it down my middle knuckles and spread my fingers out and keep us in camera for you and I go around three times.
What I’m looking for you see to plot it on the three strand so again three times the type tack end what we will do on that is just put a simple overhand knot. All right, and what we do is just adjust it to the size down the bracelet to be so what’s we’re doing now. So what we have is the bracelet the size we wanted to be and in three strands. You got two loops things out for loops and we’ll see working end. And what we do is you just stop plotting this as very out so flat so you got from the outside to the middle, outside to the middle, outside to the middle, outside to the middle. Keep doing this down and what you’ll find is you start getting your plot but it also starts plotting at the bottom end and what you do then is just I’ve knot it and you continue to plot all the way around. Why didn’t you get two of the end now I don’t patch them flat brought to the two knot using this one, I leave the gap.
And we have to do is you’re work an end; you just feed it back up through the plot. So just tease apart just fading and working in but through, like so, worked to back through and then I got through a couple of them and hopefully you can see it there quite clearly. So double plight just a little bit. And then what I do is just working the letter as if you do it on it ways it does with it better and you can pull this not really tight And then on the other end what we start with that half note and the two second same on that round to the knot work it back for the plot.
And what you end up with is a needle with bracelet and because you have plotted the leather it becomes thinner and also it becomes thicker so definitely as we need the extra gap on your hand to get off your hand this one in direct we may attach more for myself and but once you’ve wet it and it dries it will shrink. Okay so that’s the three strand plot from a single piece of cord and as I said you can do it is actually the same and braid with normal cord. All right so here is just a little piece of power cord and you can do quite a few plights on this one just to show you. All right and that is your fit of a single piece Para cord.
