Hello again folks, it's Steve Waters here from Thundermist Lure Company and in one of my articles I talk about using a Uni knot and the Uni knot is used when you want to tie two lines together. So, I am going to give you a simple demonstration here on how to do that and basically take your one line and the other line. Just put the two lines together like so. Take one of the lines, wrap it around, like that so that you have got a loop and then just take your tag and wrap it around both of those lines. Go on inside the loop and wrap it around five times. Three four, that is about four, good enough for the demo and then pull it tight.
Then do the same thing to the other side. Take your tag end, bring it around to make a loop, hold your loop like so and then put your main line and wrap it around both of the lines on the inside of the loops. So, you are going to go around again, five times, I will just do it three times here for the sake of the video and then pull that one tight. Then quite simply, wet your line. I am not going to wet it here but basically wet your line and then pull both lines together tight. Your line will break before -- that knot will let go.
So, that's a great knot for attaching two lines together. If you want to put a leader line onto a braided line, anytime you want to attach two lines together. It's that simple, good luck.
