This is a midline loop that you can tie anywhere in the line and you start out by grabbing the line around your right hand like this so will you have three pieces of line here and then you reach in and grab the middle one like that and then you pass it over the remaining two like that and then you pass it under. You reach in and you pass it under the remaining two, that's basically it. Now you can let go and when you pull everything tight like this, you will end up with a nice Alpine Butterfly loop.
