How to Track Down The Bandwidth on your Computer Mike Agerbo: I got a quick tip for you on tracking your bandwidth, your internet traffic coming in to your computer. I use a program called BitMeter II and right now I’ve got it on screen. I’ve got a graph. This is showing me minute by minute how much is going up and down through my internet connection. I can right click on it and I can go to the statistics grid and this gives me all sorts of great information. I can say much it today, this weekend, this month that I’ve downloaded and uploaded even average download and upload speeds. Taking that one step further a lot of ice piece internet service providers have bandwidth restrictions. How much traffic you can actually download on a monthly basis. I can go to the ISP restrictions option here. I can type in how much the limit is on a monthly basis even when they start date is ends, I can even have to alert me at a certain percentage of codec. Again it’s called BitMeter II, great tip for managing your bandwidth.
