Let us look at drill specifics. A progressive learning approach is critical to learning in a skill. We cannot take a random order to try and learn a specific skill. I want us to think when we do the lateral drills about building on skills. We have to learn one before we can move to another. This means you got to have to put some fat in to how you create your work outs. In this case, we are going to work off of a four mat and it goes:

Runs.

Skips.

Shuffles.

Jumps.
And then back to runs. These will help us to understand that there is a sequence that needs to be followed rather than doing a quick drill and then a learning drill and then another quick drill and then another quick drill and a learning drill. When we are randomly jumping around and just doing whatever pops into our head. We have a specific approach for specific results.

There are two types of drills that we use the latter to develop. First is full range of motion drills. This works the muscles from ten end touchment to ten attachment.

The second is enervative where we get into the neuromuscular system and we enervate, we shock the system into accepting a faster rate of speed or muscle contraction.
