Here we are in that house. Now, ___0:12 those doors that made that bed frame. Well, it is the same bedroom. And I have this cabinet which of course holds the television. Well, since they are not getting flip panel, you will be quite yet. They need to utilize this thing. We are keeping. So, we will turn this thing into something interesting by the time I am done.
Doors are a lot. This is great. Now, we are ready to mask this piece. Because we are only painting the outside of this cabinet, we are just going to mask along this line on the inside. And then this cabinet has ___0:51 on carpeting. Now, ideally, we should leave this cabinet up and put it under some wood or something but it is really, really heavy and that is not going to happen today. So, what we are going to do is simply mask. I want to give you a little pointer on masking when there is carpeting. So, come then here and take a look. So, what you need to do is rip off your tape and then take it and it is like I am kind of almost sticking it to the furniture but I am not. I am just getting it up, so there is like extra tape and then I put my fingers in it and just really pull back the carpet and push it under. Okay. So, that way, I can paint this edge nice and dark and it is not going to get on the carpeting. It will be just fine. Okay, so, I am going to continue doing this getting ready in the ___and we will start glazing the outside of this cabinet.
Okay. So, what I am doing now is I am going to be taking out this shelves and all these hardwood stuff in here because we just have a creative conference – me and the person that owns thing and she decided that we are going to want this to be all open. I think that is just fabulous. So, we are going to take out the shelves and all of the hard wood and make this look like it is an open cabinet. But inside up here, we got a real wood in the floor of this and then the back assimilated with green. Yuck! And I need to make that go away. So, what I think I am going to do is just paint that flat black and we will just glaze the rest of this thing. Some ___2:34 priming at the back of this and then I will get in the glaze in this whole thing and then we will come back and talk about what is going to happen next. Okay.
Is not this looking classier already since we got one coat on, okay? And this is just that simple glazing finish that I teach in my furniture plan DVD and she had to do it on cabinets. And it is just lovely. It is so easy to do. I think I am going to do another coat and this time I want to make it deeper and intense ___3:26. So, we are on to the second coat. Evolving one more time! I like this finish ___3:35 a lot the way it is. But due to the fact that we are going to put down here, what we are going to put up there is just a little bit too kind of normal – for one word. We need to funk it up a bit. So, I am going to use, this is my inspiration for color and I am going to pull out some of these greens and gold and just kind of put that into here -- here and there. I do not know. Then we will just tie things altogether. Okay! So, we are going to do that. And so the crazy thing about this is, I am kind of stuck with that. I really cannot go back with what I am doing right now. I am quite confident; it is just going to be just fabulous! I am really interested. I just thought we would leave this part open and it is great! It is just a nice dark color. Good stuff in there and it is actually looks so much better with this – like this. So, here we go, this is done. But you know what, come back to this piece. Do we have plans for this?
So, yes. What we have decided to do with this is make doors. I mean look at this. This is the entrance to the master bathroom and we have looked directly into the shower. I do not know who designed that or why but we are going to fix that because we are going to retain – we want the air foam. You know that is one reason this is opened. And the light – it is nice to have the light going here too. So, what we are going to do is like ___5:17. I want to make some swinging doorss with this. Somehow, we are just going to prep to this up here. Pull them up, so they will swing back and forth and so it you will to be very cool. And how you are going to do that, you are going to work onto that. So, that is the next project.
