Speaker: We are going to start our Reiki session with some Kanji positions which are from the ancient Japanese and these positions are asking for the highest good for all concerned, both practitioners and client. We are just going to use the Kanji positions, Kanji one, Kanji two, Kanji three and then we are going to lay our hands on the body like a light butterfly touch, just like a light butterfly touch and I am putting my hand down very, very gently or I can keep my hands as Lauren has her hand just suspended and just mentally, just channel the energy from up above through our hands and our heart out through the palms of our hands and transmit Reiki which is universal energy to the client.
We can also give Reiki to the lower parts of body as well as to the Chakras because as I said Reiki goes wherever it’s needed. So we are flowing Reiki now into Margaret and if she has a hurt knee or sprained hip or wrist or a finger or shoulder even though I am giving Reiki here, the Reiki is flowing wherever it’s needed in the body. We can also hover, we can hover some people don’t like to be touched so we just hover very lightly like a butterfly. Some people ask for heavier touch and we just move up the body and a typical Reiki session can be anywhere from 10 or 15 minutes to an hour or perhaps even more.
Just move up the body, you see how they are giving Reiki it is a little different and all of these techniques are appropriate and valid techniques, all learned from different teachers from different schools but all are valid Reiki techniques.
Reiki is done always with clothing on, we always try to do Reiki with some type of clothing on and now I am going to give Reiki to the long bones in the body aiming the Reiki into the deep part of the body to the inner part of the bones, to the marrow to the deepest parts of the body and I just let it flow, I just channel I don’t really even have to aim it, I just have to just allow or sometimes I can just close my eyes and relax and just allow, just allow the energy to flow through me.
