How to travel Angkor Wat - Cambodia All right, it’s Chris here. Here I'm in Angkor which is north of Cambodia. Angkor Wat had ran for about 400 years from 800 A.D. up until about 1200. This place here was built at about 1150. At the peak of its time, Angkor the population was around one million and at the same time London that was running of that 50,000 so I just showed you how big it was and as you can see behind me—they only uncovered this about 150 years ago and the jungle has actually taken over most of the temple but it’s actually giving a very natural nature feel and it’s very spiritual.
