Ken Dolan: Some affairs double, triple, and quadruple. Magnitude of ticket price increases is unprecedented on the air fairs.
Daria Dolan: Can I show this?
Ken Dolan: Well why not? Sure
Daria Dolan: It’s a blog for the New York Times if you look at it. I think that’s one of the great all time—
Ken Dolan: Pick with the sunglasses.
Daria Dolan: Pick with the sunglasses?
Ken Dolan: Yeah, but hold on let me read the bottom line. The Jersey shores are too crowded, there happens too much traffic, New York—too expensive. This summer why not go where both solitude and bargains about it maybe in your own state at $4.50 a gallon
Daria Dolan: Well actually, then we’re talking about the Caribbean—
Ken Dolan: Yeah.
Daria Dolan: —but your home state.
Ken Dolan: The point is well made.
Daria Dolan: You know, we live in New York City for a gazillion years. I’ve never been on Liberty Island.
Ken Dolan: I know, I’m from Boston I’ve never been to the—Bucker Hill Monument I’ve never been to.
Daria Dolan: Exactly. Take a look around your own backyard there are great tourism visitor bureau ideas from your own state. The things you would have never thought existed.
Ken Dolan: Yeah I went to the—what we are trying to do is we are trying to conserve on the gas on go to places that are free or nearly free. One of the things we are saying is to go to your own state tourism board or convention and0 visitor’s bureau. We went to visit FLA because we live in Florida, visit FLA.com I’d tell you I couldn’t believe the stuff we got and we checked other states. So our point, out little tidbit to you here is, check with your own state. Art museums we saw on the state of Florida, I don’t know where to go in.
Daria Dolan: Oh stop!
Ken Dolan: Oh, but not many.
Daria Dolan: There’s four in you backyard, for crying out loud.
Ken Dolan: Don’t disagree with me on camera, thank you. Biking Daytona, and tour of the Everglades, African-American heritage trail, Arctic type sleepover at sea world—things that are free or nearly free, not all are free but there are lot of free stuff. Go to your state and log, do you agree?
Daria Dolan: Absolutely.
Ken Dolan: Alright, you’ll be surprised what’s there.
Daria Dolan: And just think of this, you’ll only have to listen to “Are we there yet?” for a shorter trip period of time.
Ken Dolan: By the way, some state websites will give you the cheapest gas, we can get the cheapest gas site such as this. Cheapest restaurants, cheapest—
Daria Dolan: Lodging.
Ken Dolan: —and lodging in your state. Get online, nice vacation for a little dough.
