Hello thank you for joining me again. Today I'll be talking about how Autism is treatable. I've just returned from the DAN conference which is an organization called the Defeat Autism Now, that is dedicated to join providers, scientist and parents to talk about Autism and Autism treatment.
Currently the approved, Insurance approved treatments for Autism are Occupational therapy and Speech therapy. But every parent who has an Autistic child or who is concerned that their child might be Autistic should know that there are many alternative or complimentary treatments that are available that speak to a balancing the child's individual system.
But biochemically in helping the child detoxify and helping the child revers a lot of the symptoms that they have that are Autism related. Autism is a diagnoses of symptom, so there's no single blood test that tells you that your child is Autistic, usually the symptoms are something like no speech when your child is old enough to speak, lack of eye contact, lack of socialization, doesn't communicate or notice that other children or adults are in the room, often times these children have digestive problem, a lot of diarrhea and constipation, bowel problems.
They often have pickiness in eating, they are very particular about a eating a certain foods, for instance they are very attached to often eating a foods aren't good for them and are bad for their brains.
So, the point of this video is really to share with parents, and have them know that the sooner your child is diagnose with Autism, the more likely their symptoms can be reversed. This includes going to see you Pediatrician and making sure that your Pediatrician, if you have concerns about Autism, know what the symptoms are, there's plenty of information online, so and if you need a website to go to Google the organization Defeat Autism Now organization and the Autism research institutes, and they will have lots of information there for you.
There are also doctors who specialize in treating Autism and the Autism set of symptoms. The Autism Spectrum disorders which is also called ASD looking for these sorts of doctors will really help you understand or help you enlightening you about what is going on particularly with your child.
So, make sure your Pediatrician goes to, takes a looks at your child that you are concerned about Autism and it will refer you out to, a nerve psychiatrist or something the similar person to for further evaluation if they are concerned about Autism.
A lot of Pediatrician do not know about Autism, I don't how, but I see a lot of the children still being diagnosed when they are 4 or 5, which in my opinion is a little bit late in the diagnoses. Any child who starts biomedical treatment really probably two-and-a-half to three, they have the best chance in having most of their symptoms recover and having them in a integrate into normal school when they get into kindergarten or first grade.
So, make sure that your pediatrician is knowledgeable about how to diagnose Autism and have your, if you are still further concerned, go see another pediatrician, if your pediatrician doesn't do an adequate with diagnoses.
So, wait and see is not a good idea for Autistic children. A lot of these symptoms can be managed very, very well by using vitamins and minerals and nutrients and changing their diet. So, please educate yourself.
I'll leave some resources on this blog today for you to check out. I'll further talk to you tomorrow about vaccinations, about whether or not they have, they have been getting a lot of press about whether or not they have impact about with your children, we don't recommend that you not vaccinate your child but for a lot of children alternative vaccination schedule might be useful.
Okay, So thank you for joining me and please share this with other parents that you might know who have the possibility of Autism in their kids or concerned about the information or the resources related to Autism. Thank you very much, have a great day, bye.
