Stephanie: Hi! I am Stephanie from Boston. I don't get a lot the acne on my face, but I do breakout on my back. What can I do about those hard to reach areas? Theresa Pacheco: Stephanie, acne is a common skin disorder that affects the face as well as the back and upper chest. If you have acne on the back, I would recommend that you purchase an over the counter product that contains benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These agents are available in bar shops, liquid shops that are easy to use and can be applied on the back. If your acne is not controlled with these over the kind of the products, I would recommend that you go to the dermatologist who can prescribe oral antibiotics or other treatments that can help alleviate your acne.
