How to Treat a Pet in the Right Manner

Now I’m gonna talk about something a little bit different today, I wanna talk about animal cruelty or cruelty to your animals. Know I have a dog and I love my dog, he is like my child, you know, he goes where I go and I take care of him and he provides love and affection to me. So, we’re gonna talk about some way that people may treating their, be treating their animals cruelly and not even really realize it. Would you give your pet mind altering drugs? Now, I know there are actually people out there that think it’s funny to get, you know, get their pets drunk or get their pets high on marijuana, but if the police are around and saw that, not only will you get in trouble for the drugs, you will get in trouble for animal cruelty. Would you chain your animal, your pet to a fence post and only allow it three feet of room to move? Why, I think you can imagine what would start happening to that pet if it can't move, animals need exercise. They will start getting apathetic and lethargic and depressed, because animals are suppose to get exercise, its health would start to detoriate if it couldn’t move. Would you let your pet constantly be around aggressive animals? So, okay, you have a poodle or Chihuahua, or yorky, would you let that, your pet, hang around an over aggressive pit bull, I wouldn’t. Or if you have a non aggressive fish, you wouldn’t put him in the same fish tank as an aggressive fish. Now I know that there’s people that give their animals table scraps, and that’s probably okay, but would you give your pet a fifty percent fat diet? Well I think if you did, your pet would be overweight, you know, have other health problems, eventually die an early death just because the fat content was too high. Would you feed your pet candy, instead of dog food and coke, soda pop, instead of water? Well pets can be diabetic, they can be overweight, so just imagine what would happen if you started giving them candy and soda pop. Do you leave your animal in a coop up dark space where it couldn’t get any sunlight or fresh air? Well, no, animals need that, they need sunlight, they need fresh air, they are meant to run around and enjoy the outdoors, so think about what would happen if you didn’t let them see the sun or you know run outside. Would you withhold sleep from your pet? If you went over to your pet every time it starts doze off and woke him up and wouldn’t let him sleep, that animal will start getting depress and stress and start having mental health problems, because your pet needs sleep. Now, hopefully you’re not doing this to your pet or doing any of these things to your animal. Now, if you are it will be animal cruelty and you’ll get in trouble for it, because it’s putting your animal, your pet, in danger. So if you’re not doing these things to your pet, why would you do these things to yourself.
