How to tune a guitar.
Enjoy
I show two methods in this
Video
I hope you like it
Method 1:
5.5.5.4.5
Anyway, you are probably wondering how to tune this guitar. I am in the key of D right now so, just do not try and tune to me yet. Anyway, how to tune, you have to start out with your basic note, pretty much in the D right now. Next, on the sixth string, the E string, on the Fifth fret which is a second dot little less in here each dot means something, this means three, five, seven, nine, 12, 15, 17, 19, 21, 24.
So in case you are looking at something that is 15 something, you know exactly—not exactly, you know, where is that. Once you got your base note go to your fifth fret from that same string to get your next note. Next you take the A string which is the fifth fret string like that. Go to the same fifth fret, and that will give you your next note.
So, that was flat, or the way to do it at the same time it is up from those mix. Next you are going to go to the fourth string which is D, so to give you your next note, go ahead and match it to that, so that is a G on the third string so this one you are going to go to the fourth fret to get the next note.
That is going to give you your B string as well. Good, next you are going to go jump back to the fifth fret on the B string simply with an E. Go ahead and test some chords. Sounds okay, sounds some tune but to me this is off for tiny bit. So what you are going to do, that is why I found out how to do it go to distortion, which is good.
Method 2
Harmonic tuning
The best way to tune I found before I share it to everyone else found out that I know is to do harmonics. Set up the base note, do a harmonic on the fifth marking and the seventh fret marker. This should be the exact same harmonic. If it is out of tune you will hear a vibration. You hear that? Tune it until it stops. There is no fluctuation in between it, same thing, fifth fret, going down the strings. It is a little high. It is not good. The next one is a little bit tricky, you are going to jump back to the A string to the fifth string from the bottom, this is how strings go one, two, three, four, five, six, E, A, D, G, B, E so you are going to the fifth string on the seventh harmony and will give you that note. That is going to be your B string note.
That is going to be the harmonic. You can go and check within the fourth fret thing that I thought you earlier. Sounds pretty good. Next, do the same, just jump back up to the fifth and seventh fret for the last two strings and then that is it. That is my lead tone. I have not taken my guitar for a while, whatever. Good, you are on tune there you go, that is how you tune your guitar, if you have any questions let me know, I might post another video different ways to tune. I forgot to mention, if you want to tune to the key of E, like most guitars are tuned to go ahead and use this video that I told you and tune to this note. This should be E, A, D, G, B, E high E. On my tuner they are slightly sharp but there you go.
