Hi, my name is Phil and I am going to show you how to turn this kind of heating on. This is a Gamat heating which is very common in Berlin. You might it want to turn this thing on because it can get very cold here. And I am freezing right now, but perhaps because I am not wearing any socks. So, let us go.
At first, you have to locate the little hatch under which your controls are hidden. You can hit it by pushing down near one edge. So, these are the controls. The temperature knot and the ignite button.
When you try to turn the knot to the range of the numbers, it will be blocked. This block also happens if there is too much gas left a possible explosion. So, let us wait a couple of minutes then. Turn the knot in counter clockwise until it blocks. Then push it down. And after a second, push the ignite button and look inside whether you see the blue flame already. If not, keep trying the ignite button while keeping the temperature knot press down.
If you see a blue flame, keep the knot the knot pressed for about ten more seconds. Now, turn it counterclockwise and you will finally get into the temperature range. Turn it all the way up until you hear this sound. Congratulations! You have a working gas heating now.
To turn it off again, turn the knot clockwise until the flame vanishes and the knot will block again. Well, thanks for watching.
