Hi! I am Marilyn with Get it Together Organizing. I have a great tip for all of you quilters out there that like to tie quilts. But you do not like marking the quilts. If you would please show this fabric course, thank you.
I bought this fabric from a local store. It is a one inch gaynum (Inaudible), and then all I have to do every four inches, I cut holes. I actually did not do it. I have someone else to do it. That is even better.
So now, it is tied every four inches and as you know, you should not go beyond five inches and closer, is better, I think. This fabric is great because being one inch, it was already marked, and you do not have to even mark your fabric to figure out where to cut the holes.
Now what you do, you take this and lay it on top of your quilt. You do not need to pin it down, it will stay down. We have done many quilts this way, and you just tie it away.
Now if you want it larger, for a larger quilt, then you can piece two of these fabric together, two pieces together. And what I did was reinforce it with another piece of fabric so that it would not pull off. I mean separate. And I laid the fabric underneath the two pieces and then I just zigzaged down both sides and it works great.
