How to Understand Windows Defender

Windows Defender is Microsoft’s AntiSpyware application that they have released. It used to be called Windows AntiSpyware and it was in Beta but they’ve changed the name now. It does not run on Windows 2000. They are just concentrating their focus onto Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It’s a good software. It will constantly scan your machine and if it detects something as spyware it will pop up with a little pop-up box asking you how do you want to take action on it. Do you want Windows Defender on your machine and it is the best? Well, a lot of them are quite comparable and quite similar. It is a good AntiSpyware software but there are others out here which can do a good job and it will pick up things that Windows Defender won’t pick up.
