Welcome! My name is Chris Orwig and we are here at photoshop world in Las Vegas. And in this movie, I am going to share with you a few tips that will help you get more out of the adobe bridge. Alright, well here we are in the adobe bridge CS4 and one thing you can do inside bridge is you can zoom in and out of your thumbnails and you could do that by way of short cut on a Mac it is command plus on a PC that is a control plus. Well now, that have zoomed in my thumbnails, you know what, I really like this image yet I would like to see it without all the clutter of the bridge. Now inorder to minimize the interface, all you need to do is press the space bar key and when I press the space bar key I go to this nice full screen view mode. Now, in this full screen view mode what I can actually do is press the arrow keys to scroll trough the images. So I am going to scroll through a few images. Alright, to exit this full screen view mode just press the space bar key again.
Now, there are couple of other really interesting views inside the adobe bridge CS4. Another one is you can select an image or multiple images for that matter so go ahead and click on one, hold down the shift key and then click on another image. So I have multiple images selected.
Next, I am going to go to the view menu. Now on the view menu, you will notice on top that full screen preview that is the one that we just did. We also have a slide show, slide show option and review mode. Now slide show is very similar to full screen preview I will go ahead and press slide show and here I can go through my images by way of a slide show. And in order to access the options for your slide show, press the H key now the H key opens up those adobe bridge slide show commands and there you can modify how these images are played. To exit the slide show, press the good old escape key.
Alright now, there is one more trick that I want to share with you in regards with this view mode. And it is really interesting again you can access it by view menu and this is called the review mode. Now, you just select multiple images for this, as I have done here and then access the review mode by way of short cut which you can see is command B for Mac, control B for PC or simply select it form the menu view review mode. Now, review mode is fascinating. What it is almost carrousel of your images cludder Watch as I press the arrow keys, you will notice that I can scroll through the different images here. Now, this is a really helpful way to view a set of images. I can of course add star or labor rating. So I am going to press 1 here to give this image a one star rating.
I can also click on the carousel of images. I am going to go ahead and click on that image back there I like that one I will give that one a 1 star rating as well. Now, to remove an image from the carousel all you need to do is to press the down arrow key. Now, as I do that you will notice that those drops of the screen and you can see them dropping down below. I can press the left arrow key to go the other way and what I am going to do is simply go through the set of images look and try to find images that have some nice bright vivid colors and I round up with this final set here where I have all this wonderful brilliant vibrant colors. Now, all these images are rough file. They have not been retouched. They have not been processed yet. All I am interested in doing here is making this final selection. I was able to do that by going into this review mode. It gave me access to those images in a really unique way and that is brand new to adobe bridge CS4.
