How to Use Basic Light Rays
Hey, what’s up guys this is your PC help and today I’m going to be showing you some basic light ray tutorial for an intro or anything with your text.
When you open up Sony Vegas, right click your time line and insert a video track, go to media generators, text and take any text you want, drag it down to the line and a box should pop up. You can make whatever you want, I'm going to make it say YouTube, come up here. You can change your font and change it to whatever you want, change the size, placement and you change it on whatever you want on the screen. You go to properties, change your background color, you can change your text color and go to effects I’d recommend drawing an outline because it looks much better but you can do it whatever you want it.
When I'm done surrounding that, exit out and go to the little paper clip right here, drag it down and go to Sony light rays double click it and then click okay, and a box will come up. In here, you can mess around with the strength of the light rays. Make sure you key frame the little blue box all the way to the left and move the box to the right or left, it doesn’t matter. Move the key frame all the way to end until you can see your text, move this all the way to the left.
Then when you're done, exit it out, drag this down to where you want it and it should look like that. As you can see in the right hand corner of the preview box, and that’s basically it. Thanks for watching this simple tutorial, if you have any questions leave me comments.
