Hi name is Nina and we’re at Obi Sushi and Restaurant Town Center and today, I’ll be showing you how to use your chopsticks.

First, you’ll be taking it out from the bag and then they’re very easy to break apart. And I see some people going like this sometimes but that is bad manners. So just keep it together and the first one, your going to hold it like your holding a pencil and then put the other one right next to it. Try to put your middle finger in between it so that you can move it like this and then it’s easy to pick out rolls and that’s how you use chopsticks.

When to use Chopsticks

Well this is one is going to be a roll. You can either have the rice on the outside or in the inside. In this case is on the outside but if it’s on the inside, then you’ll see seaweed on the outside and this one, these are the nigiri which has the fish on top and then the rice on the bottom. And you usually eat that with your hands unlike the rolls. These are the sashimi and then you pick it up with your chopsticks so that you don’t warm up the fish. Because when you warm up the fish, it’s going to taste different.
