Let me show you a little trick for ant treatment, Orange TKO, and we’re trying to open it. Well now, let’s have them open already. This is a gallon and a half sprayer right here, and I dump here the Orange TKO in here. It’s a very, very strong mixture.
This is a cinnamon. We have cinnamon. I’m only adding cinnamon oil, just a little bit and that’s a lot. Did you see that? Thanks, Mr. Cameraman you’re not supposed to talk. You're supposed to not know Mr. Cameraman.
To this, we’re going to add some water to it and then we’ll pump it up and we’ll start to do some spraying. You turn it off and you it’s over here, we spray the wood. You see its okay with toys because it’s not poisonous. So, we spray in the wood, treat all the wood. We’re going to do this right here.
We’ll come over here and take a look over here, we spray the wood right in there. That’s it, because it’s nontoxic, it’s fine and smells nice, too. So when it dries it will be ready right here. It’s like treating the woods. This doesn’t treat all the woods in here to keep that from getting destroyed and all of this will just disappear really nice.
All the way around the house, we spray so we go down in that so the ants can’t get at it and usually you like to walk up and down the stairs so what we do is we spray like this on the steps of the door. Spray like that, all of this of course we’ll disappear once it dries. All this right here will disappear once it dries but it will leave a thin coating of the citrus and the cinnamon and ants with some reason don’t like that. Here’s some more right here. See, you spray it right down into their little tunnel and sometimes I do like this to get it down into right underneath there.
So, it’s totally safe and clean. You can turn it off and see me. We could do it with spray so it goes right in between there and then you’ll see that all that stuff will disappear once it dries out. You can see that all the stuff here just disappear once it dries out. It is so nice being able to touch that with a spray. So, we’re going to go ahead and put it right in here and this is a bad corner so we’ll do this corner here like this.
Get it all in there and then we’ll just take it in so it doesn’t look so messy. Even though it’s going to dry out really nice and clean, you see there are no ants coming out. No ants today will come out and say, “Hey, what’s going on here?” Let’s go check the other spot over here there are ant spots right in here. There’s an ant right there, you see it? It’s walking away so we’re going to put this in here and there.
Now remember if I can smell this citrus and cinnamon, the ants could smell it a thousand times more. We’ll spray right in here. These are all the joints and when you put in a lot of water, one of problems we have a porch, a lot of water. You need to really control the water because it’s going to destroy the wood. And we’re doing it here like this, then we do this flooring ones over here. And then right in here because they like rocks and they’ll almost always find a rock because the rocks are warm from the sun.
And the winter time here, it doesn’t get cold. There’s an ant right there, so you see this an ant trail right in here.
Ants like rocks during the wintertime the ants will move into all this little rotten wood so just spray them with this mixture and you can go like that and you just soak the rocks and the ants will get underneath it. They will get underneath because the ants will move into underneath the rock. They like rocks like a big rock like this during the summer time will have lots of ants under here. But because I do this to it, it keeps the ants from moving in. You don’t have to lift the rock. You just go like this with it. And it will get underneath the rocks just fine and it dissolves stuff and it will disappear and it won’t be visible anymore.
If you go like this with the rocks and they will all get it. The citrus stuff is a wonderful stuff and so is the citronella and it won’t kill the grass. But, if we go like and wherever there is a rock, see all this rocks the ants will normally will lock to the inside.
Now, this mixture is also not only good for ants but good for spiders, take a look at this wood. They also like the water heater. So, I took the area over there and all the way around it, the all the way around the water heater, get rid of all the spiders right behind where the laundry is. There will always be spiders back in here.
This also works with mice, a little bit of any kind of treatment and ants of course won’t come in here. It is a great way to repel the mice by just spraying all the way around and maybe a little at the top, maybe on the top up there that they will be going to, right over here on the top. There’s a spider right over there. Let’s get to that spider. Unfortunately, it seems I’m sorry and there you go. That will take care of any spider who prey behind the wall.
