All right, if you want a private folder or a cryptic folder, CryptKeeper, it will allow you to do that. Now you can also insert your password to the folder. You can mount it, unmount it and you have an option of an idle process where after a short amount of minutes, it will make the files invisible. So that is what this will do. So you can save your documents, your porn or whatever so people can’t see it.
So if you need it, just go to your package manager or your Add or Remove right and search for CryptKeeper and after you have it and open it, you have this little icon up here right? And if you left click on it, you have this option of either importing your folder or creating a new one, so that is what we are going to do, make a new one.
Now it depends wherever you want it to be at, it does not really matter okay. So I am going to go intothe Library and put a name for it. We’re going to call this ‘private’ all right. That is pretty much it and click on the Forward down here and type in your password now. Any password you want, it does not have to be the one that you use in your computer, no.
So that is that and click Forward here and that is it. You are done. Right, click OK and now you have your private folder, now you can put anything you want in there, it will keep a secret for you. So maybe put something in there, all right, so this is our folder here; private folder.
Now if you click on it again, left click on it, you know that this is mounted because there is a little check box right. Now if you unmount it, click on it and it will be unmounted and you do not have the folder no more, you do no even see t, it just says Library, right.
So well just say, we mount it again and now it asks us for our password this time, you see? So type in your password and there we go, we have our folder again, our folder here right? Private folder. There you go; our files in here and that is pretty much it. That is what it does. Now you can have more than one unlimited amount, okay. But there is some options in here also, so if you right click on this, you have this Preference option. In the Preference option here, you can set your file browser manager, so I have not so list but I have not tried Dolphin but if you use Dolphin, try it okay. And like I said, it has an option of how many minutes it will unmount, you now if you are idle or you are not—your computer, it will just auto ummount it and that is pretty much it for this program, you know. Put your porn in there, put your software or data whatever it is, okay. So that is the good way to lock your folder, have a secret private folder, whatever you are needing this, so that is it.
