Rachel Lilley is contemporary in style. I use traditional flowers with traditional colors. However, I do put them together any color of black—so I would use all white flowers, all pink flowers and I tend to just use different types of flowers as a—pinks and yellows and whites together and they just gives it much more contemporary—
This is something that we’ve done, they come out quite well named for the in the area of our various cakes. We do this for weddings, birthday party celebrations, basically it’s a rose cake and we put them on to cake stands and we’ve served them before with cuts vintage cuts and sauces with rice that’s in which is quite a sweet look.
I’m preparing what could be either bride or bridesmaid bouquet but obviously for wedding and table decorations, table centerpieces and free-standing arrangements of and the quad for mass weddings. The arrangements that we have here could be either a free something pace on above or it could be used as a table centerpiece. We have to save parts in the box and in a day we have a thousand top.
We also use the traditional fish bowl which has flowers inside so we—and sweet brown, the calla lilies or tulips if it’s not time of the year, we can sweet them around in a bowl but the grasses which are great because you can pick them up, the flowers something gets to serve and if people are not going to round the flowers. And this is a hackies that we did for bridesmaid and it’s actually a common rays. It is very full headed rays to take the center of the rays and I need build up because the shape and the size just by buckle so each of this buckles here is wide on to the center rays.
If we designed flowers for wedding, it obviously is seasonal because it depends on what we can use for the wedding and depending on what it is. So, if it was not a terminal wedding and then obviously I would suggest using the goods and the seeds and the seed parts and you can stare a bride down that way. You can show how the kind of things that you do but if the bride wants to be a little bit more traditional then obviously you come both come down that wave.
Brides often come into you with a set for that and I just want to try that to—to give them what they want it’s a waste of time for brides if they come and say we want this, this and this and then they turn around and say actually just the demand they’ve got and there’s no way we could produce the three month flowers, three months so many they’ve got and so we always tend to ask them establish a budget from where—and I’m not leading them astray by showing them things that I could never afford.
This is something that we developed for younger bridesmaids and we can’t say the extent of the picture but if someone that we use the bridesmaid’s less than five bridesmaids and when it comes to the day they want to carry their flowers so this was something that we develop because they really do want to carry it. It’s a wand and it’s beaded whichever way they hold it, it looks great in pictures so it was just a big success all around. It’s great to use free vegetable seed parts specially this time of year and the pumpkins, they’re good, they’re great to use.
If you can see here we put the seed parts in the base of the vase and it just gives again a contemporary look to different texture and works really well with the soft lines of the rays.
The arrangement here is the fishbowl, the tulips and grass. Well round inside of the bowl and very little water—the tulips just need time and a bit of water just to give it a base of the stems. This arrangement was created for table center for wedding and the color of the tulips must straight to the vase so it was a perfect match. That’s the great arrangement for a bride and groom to have a lower budget as there’s not many flowers used within the bowl but it’s a fantastic arrangement, it’s full.
