Elsie D was so overjoyed. She went outside and walked to a nearby park, without her walker.

Elsie D: I want to go all the way.

As a result of an automobile accident, Gwen has had 10 years of physical therapy. Her right and left arm were frozen at a 90 degree angle. She has been diagnosed with Gait disorder.
Anthony Sims: Two chair and walk, okay, just try to walk to the chair. No. Come back, come on back. Now just shoulders lower than the other right shoulder, okay.
We show her earlier. She was in a chronic then a few years ago and her movement was limited, was very restricted and we wanted to let go and tell her story. Gwen?
Gwen: In 1997, I've been in a chronic state. That it broke down everything, my ability to talk, my ability to walk, my ability to think and so I had a physical therapy.
Male speaker: Alright. You need a couple of taps, tap, tap, tap, okay. Now go ahead and walk back.
Gwen: This is great.
Anthony Sims: You did good, you did well.
Gwen: So did you. Wow, this is so sweet. Wow. I can hold my head up high. See, this is so amazing.
Anthony Sims: Okay, there you go.
Gwen: No, I couldn't talk like this. Look at this. I can move my shoulders. I can even hold my boots. This is fabulous. I am so happy.
Follow Up: Gwen is now able to swim, she is very active with her daughter, and after 10 years she is applying for her license to drive again.
Gwen: I feel great, I can run, I can run.
