Here is why they contain citric acid. You can take a bowl full of warm water and lemon and soak your nails on it. The citric acid will help take away discoloration on your nail beds brought on by dark polishes. Another great tip, take a cotton ball, squeeze it with some fresh lemon juice and use it along your palms. It will help take away those tall tail dark lines when you use it. Another great idea, take a cotton ball, squeeze it with some fresh lemon juice and put it on any pimples that you have. The citric acid will help take away redness in a flash.
