Michael Weatherford, he is submitted a top five list he goes by the handle--and you might be able to catch him in the chatroom @live.pirillo.com. He got top five ways to safely use media players while driving. Of course that may not actually mean while you are driving as you will come to understand as I read through his list.
Driving safely should be the top of everyone list, however the development of portal devices is cost countless people to make more dangerous on the road using phone and portal MP3 players while driving is someone is this most serious dangerous on the road today.
Top five lists here now is for the safe use of these portable players while driving. Some of the principles may only apply mobile devices. You might remember the video that we have uploaded quite a few months ago when I ran into the starbucks with my car, I though I was park. However, I was not in-park when I was messing around with the live stream, that was costly mistake but I am very grateful that I was not doing it while I was actually on the road.
Number one video, do not watch it when you are driving it is bad idea, really bad idea. If your eyes on the road then you are in danger save it for a café park or on your livging room. Although designed to be portable, video players they jus not designed for watching while your driving. And the to this point I know somebody who has killed himself accidentally. He was messing with the radio and ended up crashing into phone pole and pretty much died on the scene, it is serious and I know I am justice as guilty for messing with other things while I am driving. But let this serve as a reminder, you do not need the watch. You do not need to check your email, you do not need to watch your videos, you do not need to do that, and you just need to drive.
Number two, searching songs, searching for music while driving is as bad as watching videos. Do not find your self-scrolling to thousands of songs just to find the one. You want to listen to right now if your drive time is 35 to 40 minutes I am sure you can wait. This brings me to my next point.
Playlists for number three. Use the players designed at home for certain moods or make one your favorite or top rated songs. Just for when you want to be in the car, this can save you from skipping dozens of songs because you do not want to listen to them as often as those that would be in this playlist so set-up the playlist ahead of time.
That ties into number four preparation. Have the device plug into the charger and the audio input device cable for your stereo and have a secured in place, it is easily accessible while keeping your eyes on the road but generic holder of some sort while usually do the trick and or this things are inexpensive. Select your desired playlist before you start driving and if you really want to skip tracks try to do it on a stop position like on the traffic lights.
Also, if possible, try to have the back light display set sorry black light back light display set to constantly on. This will enable you to easily see any contact at a glance rather than having a reach over everytime to activate the screen.
And then number five get help if you have passenger ask them to change the music for you as tough as it may be for those who do not like others controlling the music in their cars. If you have to focus on the road then it is better choice to get someone else to search for music or skip songs.
Note, if they are really annoying you by constantly skipping tracks then you could always threaten them by making them walk and to follow tips number one through four. Very good safe driving tips if nothing else as I said before let this serve as a reminder. If you are not driving it is not a big deal, if you are driving it is a gigantic deal, huge deal I am just guilty my hands are not clean as far as this is concerned and each time I realize in mind I do not need to be doing this right now.
I need to keep my eye on the road you know just one second is all it takes for something bad to happen and you never know, you never, ever, ever know. Because even of htough if you may have your eye on the road that person coming your direction may not they may be messing with there media player.
