Monica Jean, look at this, kale from last year that we didn't harvest. Now it's flowering. It has a typical mustard family flower with four yellow petals. You like plants in this family, you like broccoli and cabbage, you like collards and brussel sprouts and even turnips and horseradish.
Should we pick some of these yellow flowers to put them in our salad Monica Jean? We know that eating four servings of this plant family will decrease our cancer risk like 50% and no one is too young to pass a bad opportunity or too old to either. What do you say?
Oh! You want to pick some dandelion flowers. Dandy line flowers are wonderful. We had those in our salad last night, didn't we? Thank you. That one is just about to make seeds. Yes, well you don't have indigestion, but people who do have indigestion would like some dandelion in their salad or some dandelion flowers in their home made salad.
We can pick these leaves from last year's kale and put it in the salad just like the flowers. I was at the very fancy restaurant and they had radish flowers in the salad. They are much bigger and pink. Same family here, wonderful cancer protection, wonderful taste and if you look these continue, the flower, you see they are making pods and they'll actually make mustard seeds in these pods and we could harvest that and grind it up with some vinegar and actually make mustard to put on savored juice.
