So, you know the client just called and in all of things he is asking if we can make this one lick that I was pointing out to you louder. What are we going to do about that, ah okay, right here. He wants that ahahahha! Yeah. Yeah well, this should be a good opportunity for us to show them how we augment things in both sounds. Okay, let us do that, yeah, alright. Well, automating approach, now for those who do not know what automating is. It allows us to do fade rides volume etc. to, you know, make certain things come in and out of the mix at certain times. It allows us to record those, those rides and then when we go to print the mix, it plays all those rise back for us. So, let us demonstrate that, if we look at our screen we will bring up the volume for this particular track so right here is what we want to automate (music playing). So, what we are going to do, we are going to go over here the words as read. Now, this are automation notes, so we are going to click on that and we are going to go auto touch, meaning that when we touch this fader it is going to record that fader movement. So in order to that, we hit play (music playing), okay. Now, we are going to play it back and you watch that fader it will just essentially move, and make my move (music playing). Much like the old days of flying faders, exactly you have flying faders here in the computer. So of course, let me write that in the way that the client actually wants, right, he never head for that one. So, let us see what we got here (music playing). Sure, there it is, something like that. So, that is one way of doing automation. Now here is another great way to do automation in probe tools that goes beyond with flying faders on those tremendous consoles were able to do for us. So let us look at our screen. Instead of, we are going to go hear the words as wave form. Instead we are going to here the words as wave form but instead of wave form, we are going to pull up volume. Now if you look there, that is our lick that I wrote. He gives you a display of you fader ride. So the beauty of this feature when we are hearing volume as opposed to, again wave form, the volume is all of that automation can be changed and deleted and copied and paste just like a wave form. That is great, yeah. So, we can highlight hit and hit delete and we are back to a clean slate. So, one of the things that I can do, instead of having to do it, you know in real time, exactly, having performed the ride which is sometimes really exciting but we could just take this section here highlight it and then with our little tool here come up and pull it up. I am going to go a little drastically so you can here it, so we could show to the folks at home, with louder volume. This will make the ride fuzz (music playing), yep. You can even, when you get to your little break points here, you will see a little finger come up or you could click it up and we could drag it up. So, there is no end to the amount of options (music playing), sure. Now at that point, we have created a fade there. Fade up anyway, and this will do it everytime, everytime. So that is another interesting way to do it. Third way to do automation prog tools when you really get hang of it, it is a lot fun, you might be asking. So, what is this old pencil for over here, I was wondering, well we are going to show, right. Pencil allows you to just draw the animation, I see. So, as long as you are in volume, another option on how to do this, absolutely. We are going to draw a big fader like that, now look at that. Now, when we play that back watch the fader follow what we drew (music playing). There it is, that is another way to do your automation. She have many options, as far as, how to do this. You have many options you can do it in real time, like the 1st way that we have showed you, you can grab it by section, or you can draw it. Now drawing is really where it is really gets fun, yeah because you are actually doing it, absolutely, so again a lot of different ways getting the can. It really just depends on your preference, absolutely so that is a lot of automation to get you up and running, cool, alright.
