So, looks like the mix is completed, yeah I am happy. Transfering to CD, how do we do that? I am glad you asked, okay, alright. Why do not we show our friends at home, how to print your mixes in prog tools, let us do it, by using a command called “bouncing to disc”. So, it is very easy, we will show you how to this. If we look at our screen here, we want to take this whole section here, the whole solo section is what we are going mix. So, we are going to highlight, and what does that essentially uses, we have highlighted this in the timeline meaning when we bounce when we print the mix, it is going to print from here to here in the timeline. Like, if we had highlighted from here to there, it is going to highlight from earlier this section to there. But, we just want to bounce this solo section here for this client, right. If we wanted to bounce more of that, you simply highlight more and you get the idea more or less, right. So, if you just hit the bounce to this command, it is going to start at the very beginning of the session and do the whole entire session which might not be what you want to the very beginning of the session, it is being a custom piece, right. Sometimes, you know at the beginning of the session could, you know, have a few little flaws and a little bit of junk, so you get a nice clean start on the tune and you highlight from there to the end. So in this case, we are going to highlight here, Bob and Bret’s blues. Anything that you have muted will bounce meaning that if you have not tried to mute it, it is not going to be in the mix. And, since it is disputed chances you do not want them anywhere, exactly. So, after we have highlighted the timeline here and that will be bounced where we want it to go to file. Bounce to disc, here it is, and a prompt comes file type, we are just going to go AIFF, okay. Now format, we want to go to stereo interlink, that will give us a stereo mix, that is what we want for this time stereo mix. Now resolution, now if we are going directly to CD like we are today, you want to go 16-bit because, hence, CDs are 16-bit, right makes sense. So, we are going to go directly to CD on the bounce, you want to bounce to 16-bit, now hence, if you were bouncing in and then you are going to pull it in to a mastering session or something like that. You want to keep that at your 24-bit that is your recording because this is not the final stuff, right. Now this is just going straight to CD, to biggest thing, make sure you have your stereo interlink 16 and a 44 one. Now, we tracked in a 44 one on our sample rate which is great because in here you do not have to convert to sample rate when you go to CDs, so that what will work consistently. So work our systems, so remember 16-bit 44 one when you are going straight to CD and it will ask you if you want to convert. During your bouncer convert after bounce, we are going to convert after bounce and that comes out with less chance of error, okay sounds. So then you hit bounce, so we will do this? So then we will choose where we want the mix to go, we will just have it sent to the desktop. We will name it, here we are, here it is. We hit save (music playing) and bounces right from the spot we told it to, nice. And that is basically it, it bounces in real time. So however the long the song is that you are mixing is how long you guys would take, it tells you right there and so that is how much time is remaining, it gives you a time remaining. So that is it, so wait for our thing to bounce very time efficient, absolutely. Minimum of wasted time with this tool, that is for sure, you bet.
