How to Use Purple and Blue for Makeup

Start with a clan eye! Then apply a base. I used urban decay primer potion. Then apply electric eel eye shadow by MAC or any bright electric blue eye shadow to the lid only. I used a 239 brush by MAC. Then apply a dark purple eye shadow to the crease of your eye. Use a pencil brush for this. I used MAC 219 and Beauty Marked e/s. It should look like this. Apply a lighter purple e/s above the crease. I used a 217 blending brush by MAC and Nocturnelle e/s. It should look like this. Now, apply an even lighter purple above the Nocturnelle e/s. I used a 217 MAC brush and star violet e/s. It should look like this. Now we need a highlight. I used MAC 217 brush and shroom e/s by MAC Apply from above the lightest purple to the brow bone. It should look like this. Blend the two purples together at the line they both meet at in a circular motion. Apply a little more of the highlight and blend. Use an angled brush in your lid color. Line your lower lash line then blend it out with a soft blending brush. Then add a little of star violet lightly beneath the electric eel with a pencil brush. Now use a purple liner to line your waterline and upper lash line. I used MAC non-conformist fluid line and a 209 brush. Freshen up your electric eel so that it’s more vibrant and overpowering over the purple. Foundation time! I used a 187 MAC brush and stipple a small amount of studio fix liquid foundation on my face. Then blend outward. Then I used a big fluffy brush (MAC 150 or Lowell Cornell xxl) and apply my studio fix powder. Then I fill in my brows with an angled brush (MAC 266 & showstopper e/s) and apply my mascara (telescopic by L’Oreal at the moment). Next, I contour my cheeks (MAC 168 brush and sincere blush). Apply brush with a medium fluff blush brush (MAC 129 and NARS Orgasm blush) Don’t forget to highlight your cheeks! I used a kabuki (bare minerals) and stereo rose MSF by MAC. Done with your face makeup! Then I line my lips (NYC 810 natural lip liner). Gloss (smashbox pop and MAC instant gold over that) and you’re done!
