How to Use Synergy Software

Chris D from PC-addicts doing a short recording here on synergy and its a little application it’ll allow you to share. One keyboard and mouse with multiple computers, right now I have it control in, I have a setup on two computers, my main PC that’s over here, you can see on the screen. This is the server part of the application. I can’t show you that because I’m not remoted into this one from my stream PC but I could show you the client side, the hardest part with synergy is actually configure in it to get it to work. It’s pretty confusing if you ask me. Basically what it looks like here is I’ll switch to this one. Now mind you we are on my stream PC which I have a bunch of junk over but while it’s running you’ll see a little icon right here it says connected to C Davis, it shows status, basically I can’t even show you to configure it right now but basically once you got it set up you can use one keyboard and mouse of your main PC to control another one. I haven’t setup so once I drag my mouse from the right monitor here and it keeps going over to the second computer and then also I have just to show you real quick the way I have my modem setup, the one that matters on the wall is modem number two just drag it around wherever the monitor basically is and says it’s up above. Once I hit apply and once I drag my mouse to the top of the screen it goes directly to the screen on the wall which is where you see my on air.
And then it’s basically synergy, I wish I could show you guys the server part about it because it’s pretty tough to figure out. They knew it here you go try synergy out. It’s synergy.
