If you encounter a problem that causes Windows to become unstable, you can start the system store Wizard in normal or safe mode and roll back your system files in registry to those saved from a previous date.
To restore the system to a previous date, you must be log on as a member of the administrator’s group, shut down all running programs and make sure that no other users are log on to the machine.
On the start menu, choose all programs, accessories, system tools and finally system restore. On the welcome to system restore screen, choose restore my computer to an earlier time.
On the calendar, select the date you want to restore too. After you make your selection, click next. A confirm restore points selection screen appears. When you give the go ahead system restore copies files and settings from the selected restore point, and then restart your system automatically.
