Hi I’m Molly Wood and I’m here to show you how to use widgets on your Android phone.
Now you your Android home screens are highly customizable. You can drag all kinds of icons up here, move them around and even have multiple home screens. But widgets are totally different animal and they can make your Android home screens useful and fun out it goings.
To create a widget, just press and hold the home screen until the other home screen menu appears, then just choose widgets. You’ll see several options for widgets like, a clock, your calendars, Facebook, music and so on, and those are all built-in. and then if you’re going to install app sets of widgets like Twidroid or the Weather app then you can choose those two.
So here some are fine particularly useful. The Power Option Widget let’s you turn on and off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GRPS, push sink or screen brightness and it’s all with one tap.
The music widgets are also find really nice. It just makes it easier to start and stop song or launch at play list. But here’s an even more fun use of widgets.
Once that homescreen menu is up, just choose picture frame. This let you choose a photo from your album and then put it on your home screen so then you have your pictures here. Nice touch!
So, there you go widgets. A cool way to customize your home screens and make them more useful, first thing they’ll have to. I’m Molly Wood and your welcome.
