Okay so, this is the last part of my little extra things that you may not have known about vista. So, I did forget to incorporate this in part one of two and I apologize for that. But then anyhow here we go.
So, I’ll open up my computer from the start menu and go organize folder inserts option then view tab and then show hidden files and folders and then you can hit OK. And open up local disk C and then you’ll see MSO cache, double click on that, double click on all users and then the folder is in here or service pack or update on installer file which you don’t need unless you want to uninstall a page for—I don’t’ believe the service pack are installed in it, it could be no. But highlight all of that and then drag and drop it over to your recycle bin and then empty the recycle bin. And then that will save you I think it’s about 600 megabytes for storage.
Also if you want to save space, go to my computer, right hand click on your hard drive, properties and then hit compress disk drive, this says disk space and then OK and then OK again. The only thing with that is it takes a long time and it probably slows down your system. So, I don’t know but I don’t’ do it because I’ve had enough space left. Another thing is programs and features add that into the start menu and then enter and then you’ll see all of the programs installed on your computer. Don’t keep things on here that you don’t need. Go ahead and save space and time and speed it up and uninstall programs that you do not need. That’s a good thing to do. And run disk cleaner, disk defragment are often it helps more than you think.
So again, you’ll save a lot of space, hopefully time and good luck with that and thanks for watching part three of three.
