How to Use Your External Monitor as Main Display on a Mac

Hey guys, what’s up? Tex up here, with another video tutorial. I'm going to be demonstrating how to use your external monitor as your main monitor from your Mac. I try to do this a long time ago when I had just done my Macbook to pair it with my TV. But I didn’t really find it well so today I just search it up. I just found this out like not even a minute ago. So I just thought I showed you. I’ll share this with you and I have no idea at all if you could do this. So if you want to use your external monitor as your primary display, all you have to do is open up settings or system preferences. And then go to Displays. You go to Arrangements. Now all you have to do is this little top white bar. Drag it to your external display and there you go. Your external display is your main monitor. You can see we’ve done here. And also the top green bar.
Now, I search the Dot Know This guys, you can see it works perfectly. Just exit system preferences and that’s the external monitor and then you just do whatever.
Okay guys, quick video. Now if you want to switch it back. Just do the same thing. Go to your preferences. Go to Displays. Arrangement and you just move the white bar from the external monitor to your iMac. And this quick tip, pretty amazing. You did not know that at all.
