How to Use the Currency Data Type in Access 2007

The current C data type can be used whenever you want to have a dollar or since amount entered in to your field. So if I have for instance a field name of membership fee then I want to get a currency number back. So I would set my data type to currency and then the format is on currency which is what we want for the format and then I can set my decimal places up all the way to look like 15, I could set it and for here for membership fee I’ll go ahead and put it to two and in that way when someone types in the membership fee or when I type in the membership fee I can have it to two decimals and that will be formatted with the dollar sign showing me that it is currency.
