How to Use the Download Manager in Firefox 3

The download manager in Firefox 3 is a great way where you can download anything from the internet and kind of keep track of what you downloaded and go back and search for something if you can't find it at a later time. So I have a PDF file here that I would actually like to download, so I'm going to click on the link for the download and I could open it. I'm going to download it though, click on download and notice down here and it went really fast because it’s released no file. Let's try it again actually and if you watch down here it’s going to show you how much time is left and what you're downloading. You also have the opportunity to pause downloads, if it’s a long download, if it’s taking a while, if you want to download something else to continue that download at a later time.

Now you can go ahead and pause that. Now I have my downloads list right here and what I can do is I can search, so if I kind of remember what it’s called I can search for nutrition and obviously both of this have nutrition. If I search for at the number two in here then it highlights download that has the number 2 in it. I also if I had a lot of downloads here, then I get a scroll bar and I could simply scroll down and find the download and then at that point I can right click on it and I can open it, I can copy the link. I can remove it from the list if I want to clear the list and I just press this button and it would go ahead and clear my download list. So that’s how that you can use the download manager in Firefox 3.
